Illustration Friday: SWIM Part 2

Another swimming image, this time it's of the four main swimming strokes that are swum in races: butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle. I call this illustration "Individual Medley". It's an event  where all four strokes are swum by one person in the order of butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle. So my swimmer here is swimming this event, note the direction changes. Note the swimsuit changes too, how cool would that be if that could really happen in real life? It's a painful event to swim (I've done it) so why not add some pizzaz and fun with color changing swim gear?

Illustration Friday: SWIM

I learned this song when I was at Girl Scout day camp when I was 8 years old and I always loved this song since then. I love to swim and this song is a fun song to sing because you just keep on singing it, it doesn't really end until you want it to or someone asks you to end it. Swimming is like that for me too, I can just keep on swimming and swimming until I want to stop or someone asks me to.
